February 3 – "Don't mistake activity for achievement – practice it the right way."
Merely running around and hitting a tennis ball doesn't equate to learning the game of tennis. It's crucial to practice correctly while on the court!

We spend countless hours on the court preparing for a tennis match, yet we often neglect the "fuel" (food) we put into our bodies. The timing and choice of our meals are crucial to ensure we don't "crash" during a match.

Players wait too long to get to the ball or prepare their racket. Get yourself to the ball with the racket, ready to hit the ball.

When wanting to play tennis at a high level, you must take care of things you can take care of; one of them is your physical training. Walking on the court knowing you can physically "go the distance" if necessary gives you much confidence.

Many players warm up, and someone says, "I'm not going to get any better; let's play." That's the extent of our practice. Think about how good you can get if you did practice, not always play sets.

Always assume that the ball you hit will be good and that it will be returned. Assuming those two things, you will never be surprised when your ball lands in and your opponent gets to it and sends it back.

We often hear from clients, "I don't have the time to practice." To improve, you must make time to practice by prioritizing it.

We must all prepare each day when we play tennis: preparing our rackets, our mindset, and preparing when to leave for the site. These are just a few examples.
